TechnipFMC has been awarded a big engineering, procurement, building and set up (EPCI) contract by Shell plc for the Jackdaw growth, positioned in the UK North Sea.
The contract covers pipelay for a 30 km tieback from the brand new Jackdaw platform to
Shell’s Shearwater platform, in addition to an related riser, spoolpieces, subsea
constructions, and umbilicals.
The tieback will use pipe-in-pipe know-how, which is designed for prime stress, excessive
temperature use.
