Storm Reid (“A Wrinkle in Time,” “The Invisible Man”) has scored a lead function within the sequel to 2018’s “The Nun” at New Line.
The follow-up to the profitable “The Conjuring” prequel spin-off sees Michael Chaves directing following his work on 2021’s “The Conjuring: The Satan Made Me Do It”.
The primary “The Nun” was set in a monastery in 1952 with the sequel nonetheless set to unfold within the Fifties with the demonic creature nonetheless not having been vanquished. Specifics of Reid’s character are below wraps.
Akela Cooper wrote the screenplay with present revisions by Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing. James Wan and Peter Safran are producing, with filming to start in October.
