Saipem awarded two offshore contracts for whole of US$900 million


Saipem has been awarded two offshore contracts for a complete quantity of roughly US$900 million.

The primary contract, in partnership with Aker Options do Brasil, has been awarded by Complete Energies, for the LAPA Southwest (LAPA SW) Growth Undertaking, a deepwater oil area within the Santos Basin within the South Atlantic, 270 kilometres off the coast of São Paulo, in Brazil.

The scope of labor encompasses the Engineering, Procurement, Development, and Set up (EPCI) of Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, Flowlines (SURF) in addition to a Subsea Manufacturing System (SPS).

The opposite contract has been awarded to Saipem by Equinor for the Irpa Pipeline challenge.
