Leggy Share New Track “Lipstick On The Mic”: Hear

Date:

The Cincinnati indie band Leggy’s 2019 full-length Let Me Know Your Moon impressed my colleague James Rettig to declare, “This album fucking rocks!” In the present day they’re again with their first new track since then, a woozy mid-fi rocker known as “Lipstick On The Mic” that may have you ever swinging your hips and/or bobbing your head. The opening lyrics are mighty compelling: “Hey babe, am I means off? It nearly looks as if you’ve been down/ I ask one million mothers they usually all inform me to be robust/ The place do you suppose love goes when it leaves anyway?/ The toughest a part of loving you is the ache.” Even higher is the refrain: “Are you able to do what I do? I left lipstick on the mic for you.” Hear under.
