The discovery of three bodies inside a locked car near Delhi’s Peeragarhi flyover has shifted from a tragic accident to a complex criminal probe following the emergence of a mysterious “Baba.”

Delhi Police are currently interrogating a tantric practitioner and his associate after CCTV footage placed the spiritual figure inside the vehicle with the victims—identified as Randhir (76), Shiv Naresh (47), and Laxmi (40)—just hours before their deaths on Sunday.

The victims, who shared a long-standing friendship, met in Peeragarhi on Sunday morning before driving to Northeast Delhi to visit the tantric practitioner.

Investigators tracing their final movements found that the car eventually returned to the flyover, where it sat idle for nearly an hour.

When police finally breached the vehicle, they found no signs of a struggle or external injuries, but the interior told a darker story: three liquor bottles and used glasses sat near the bodies, and a “cloudy white” liquid was found in a soft drink bottle.

While initial police theories leaned toward a suicide pact—bolstered by the presence of vomit and a “poisonous” odor—the victims’ families have vehemently rejected this claim.

Relatives insist there was no financial distress or emotional turmoil that would prompt such a drastic step. “Whoever did it should come forward and say why they killed them,” a relative told investigators, pointing the finger at foul play.

The investigation now hinges on the chemical analysis of the victims’ internal organs.

While Randhir and Shiv Naresh were involved in the property business and Laxmi worked in home care, police have yet to find a motive for murder or suicide.

The “Baba” remains a central person of interest as authorities attempt to recreate the final hour inside that car.
